          The city of Americus has designated the week of October 3rd through October 9th as “Sumter Shrine Week.”

Our goal for this week is to raise awareness about and money for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

          We are selling ads for our program booklet and tee boxes at our golf tournament.  Information on both of these events can be found on the following pages.  We are also selling raffle tickets for a shotgun.

          Program ads will be priced as follows:
A full page ad will be $100.00, and will include a Tee box ad.                    
A half page ad will be $55.00, and will include a Tee box ad.
A quarter page ad will be $30.00, and will include a Tee box ad.

          On Monday, October 4th, we will have a community program at the Masonic Temple (across from Winn Dixie), at 7:00 p.m.  After a short program, we will have the drawing for the shotgun raffle, followed by light refreshments.

          On Thursday, October 7th, we will have the golf tournament at the Griffin Bell Golf Links.

          On Friday and Saturday, October 8th and 9th, Shriners will be accepting donations at WalMart.
