Noble Doyce E. Mullis, Chairman of the Hospital Crusade Committee of
the Dodge County Shrine Club presented a check in the amount of $2,500
as remittance of the proceeds from the recent "Spring Hospital
Crusade" to representative of the Al Sihah Shrine Temple, Noble Billy
Ray Phillips. "We are so thankful to the citizens and businesses of
Eastman, Dodge County, and the surrounding areas for their support of
the Shriner's Children's Hospitals. Through these contributions we
hope to bring relief to the suffering of small children in dire need
of medical assistance at absolutely no cost to the parents or
guardians. Shriners are all about helping children and we sincerely
hope this will help in that endeavor", said Doyce E. Mullis, Chairman
of the Hospital Crusade Committee of the Dodge County Shrine Club.

On May 16, 2008 the Eastman City Manager and the Chairman of the Dodge
County Board of Commissioners signed a proclamation declaring the week
ending May 31, 2008 to be Shriner's Children's Hospital Crusade week.
The Dodge County Shrine Club will be raising funds that week to
support the Shriner Hospitals. Children up to the age of 18 with
orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and
palate are eligible for admission to a Shriner Hospital and receive
all care in a family-centered environment at no charge regardless of
financial need.
