Houston County Shrine Club
By Roy Jump, PP, Secretary

                     Houston County Shrine Club executive
Board met on January 22 to make plans for 2009.
There will be two paper sales conducted along
with a golf tournament and a spring and a fall
BBQ.  The regular scheduled events, Mossy
Creek in April and October will be carried on
as usual.  Other subjects emerged and were
placed on the table for discussion. All the items
were presented to the club membership at the
February meeting of the club.  Some dates were
scheduled
It is a known fact that our Temple
membership is getting smaller each year.
Membership is dwindling in the clubs and
units. Now is a good time to think about
survival of our Shrine Temple.  Think about
working as a team with all clubs and units
joining forces to make good things happen.

All Nobles are invited to come visit with
Houston County Shriners.  We meet the First
Tuesday every month.   Meeting times are:
come to eat at 6:30 PM with meeting to start at
7:30 PM.  The club voted at the last meeting to
start the meeting at 7:00PM because everyone
seemed to be finished with the meal before
seven.
