POTENTATE 2009

Nobles;

Thanks Nobles and Ladies for making the cookout in April a great success, you guys made it known, you want more of this.  If everything goes well, we will plan another one later this year (let us know what you would like to have).
Thanks to all of you who show up for the Potentates Cruise talk, even though they were several other activities that day, but you still have time to sign up and enjoy. We must have your request turn in by May 9th.   Applications available at the Shrine Temple. Remember, the larger the crowd, the more fun we have.

Al-Sihah, turned, 100 years old Tuesday, April 13th, the birthday party, Friday, night was a wonderful tribute to your Temple, by all of our Nobles and Ladies, our friends form the other Temples, even visitors from as far away as Washington.  There is no way, Linda and I can say THANK YOU enough for all of you who made it happen, even the Imperial Sir Jim Cain commented, this one was special.  The Aide Corp out did themselves on the decorations, especially Lady Beverly Corley, for making the birthday cake decorations for all the tables.  THANKS to all of you for a wonderful evening.

The Potentate’s Ball, was a dream come true.  WOW, you guys sure know how to make someone feel special.  This is truly a night I will never forget.  Linda and I have never felt so honored in all our lives as we were that night.  God bless each and every one of you who made this happen, you sure made two people very happy beyond words.

Thru all your generosity in gifts and contributions, we received $15,827.54 for the transportation fund, $3250.00 for the general fund, $150.00 for the First Lady, and $13,915.13 for our Hospitals, a total of $33,142.67.  THANK YOU for what you do for our Shrine and our Hospitals.

Thanks to our very special guest Imperial Sir Jim Cain and his Lady Patsy for helping us celebrate our 100th year, and thanks to all of you for making them feel like part of our family.

Lind and I, thank God every day for knowing each and every one of you.  YOU are always in our prayers.
